PaddyPowerPoker.com’s 2009 Irish Poker Open, which kicks off later this week at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin, will air on TG4 as eight one-hour programmes starting on May 6, at 11:30 p.m..

Winmedia Ireland Ltd., the company which produced the first ever sponsored poker tournament in 2002, and which has extensive experience in the field, will produce the shows for TG4.
TG4’s Head of Sport, Rónán Ó Coisdealbha said, “We are delighted to be involved with Paddy Power for this event and to bring this prestigious tournament to poker fans all over Ireland on national television.”
