The latest PartyPoker.com Monthly Million was a blazing success with 1,567 participants from across the globe. The third instalment took place on Sun., Apr. 5 at 5.45 p.m. (BST) and saw a championship blind structure with a $600 + $40 buy-in. There were various ways to qualify and some players made their way there from as little as $1.
The two who made it through the massive field and shared the top prize from the million dollar prize pool were “AceBarbara” from Holland and “IIIPLAYMEIII” from Denmark. They both earned themselves a hefty $155,000, with “AceBarbara” named as the official winner.
A PartyPoker.com spokesman said, “No nation has really stamped their dominance on the Monthly Million yet with different countries dominating the final table on all three occasions. The inaugural running of the tournament saw a win for France, while the second Monthly Million was dominated by Russia. We would like to congratulate all those that finished in the money on Sunday.”
Last month the Monthly Million was won by Russian player SuperTight31.
Sunday was a busy day for PartyPoker as its Bad Beat Jackpot was also taken down — one player won $205,978.
