The $10,300 PokerStars.com Spring Championship of Online Poker main event has been won by Jude “j.thaddeus” Ainsworth from Galway (pictured right), Ireland. Ainsworth, who won the Irish Poker Championship in 2008, beat 501 opponents to take down the top prize of $963,338.
The final table included Jon “PearlJammer” Turner and Chris “Moorman1” Moorman:

The final hand saw both players check a flop of 3 Q 9. The A came on the turn. Ragen70 bet and j.thaddeus called. The river brought the 6 and a check-raise all-in from ragen70 and a call from Ainsworth.
Ragen had J 6 for the rivered pair but j.thaddeus had hit his flush with the same river card. ragen70 won $715,350 for his second place but Ainsworth took home almost a $1 million for his victory.
Elsewhere at SCOOP European Poker Tour supremo, John Duthie (pictured left) came second in the $25,000 heads up event. European players dominated proceeding with the winner hailing from Germany and third place coming from Norway.
