World Poker Tour Hits Barcelona in June, Adds CyprusExpansion of European Poker Circuit Continues as WPT To Arrive in Spain and Cyprus |

The increasingly packed schedule of the European poker player is about to get even busier with the news that the World Poker 
Casino Barcelona’s website says the WPT Spanish Championship will take place in the city from June 24 to 30 while Merit Casino’s website says it is hosting the Cyprus event from Sept. 4 to 12, 2009. The Barcelona main event will have a buy in of €5,000 + €300 while the Cyprus event will have a buy in of $10,000 + $300.
The news comes hot on the heels of the recent announcements that the WPT will host an event in Venice in May and Morocco in October.
