Cyndy ViolettePoker pro Cyndy Violette normally plays in some of the toughest mixed games on the planet. On Sunday, she will take a break from high-stakes to play poker for a good cause. Violette will host a charity tournament on Full Tilt Poker this weekend to raise money and awareness for three great causes.

The buy-in for the tournament is $5+$5, with half of the entry fee going towards the prize pool and the other half going to benefit The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and the Special Olympics through Poker Gives. Anyone is welcome to join in on the action, and you can find the tournament under the ‘private’ section in the tournament lobby.

The long-time stud expert won a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2004 and has more than $1.1 million in lifetime tournament earnings.

Violette is one of the most accomplished women in the game, and to cement her place in history, the Women in Poker Hall of Fame (WiPHoF) will be inducting her along with Jan Fisher and June Field at a ceremony on Friday, June 5 at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas.
