From multi-tabling six-handed cash games online to competing in Bobby’s Room, Andrew Robl has experienced a lot in his relatively short poker career. This week, he joins Adam Schoenfeld and Diego Cordovez on The Scoop on Card Player TV (sponsored by Full Tilt).

Robl highlights some of the major differences of live play vs. online play in the interview — pointing out that players often have much deeper stacks in live games. He also describes some of the differences in the various levels online, saying that while the competition does indeed get better the higher stakes you play, “it’s not a whole new ballgame.”

Robl also talks about how he has seen poker pros go broke because they aren’t properly bankrolled for the games they’re playing in, discusses why he plays as high of limits as he does, and talks about his struggle to regain his motivation to play poker.

Training sites are also a hot topic in the conversation. Robl discusses how much tougher poker games have gotten just in the past 18 months, and talks about the value of joining a training site.

Watch Part 1 of the interview today on Card Player TV. Part 2 of the interview will be available next week.
