Venetian Deep Stack Begins Thursday

The Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza III begins on Thursday, May 28 at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Things will kick of with three $250 super-satellites, which will run at noon, 4 p.m., and 8 p.m. There will also be a $550 super satellite for the $5,000 no-limit hold’em championship event held on May 12. Players will begin with 4,000 in chips for the satellites and the winners will be paid in tournament entry chips.

The tournament series will host 48 events from May 28 through July 13. All tournaments will play the first day scheduled until a final table is reached or until 2 a.m., whichever comes first. Play will resume at 4 p.m. the following day and continue until a champion is declared. Games spread will include no-limit hold’em, no-limit hold’em shootout, pot-limit Omaha, Omaha eight-or-better, and H.O.R.S.E. Buy-ins will range from $200-$5,000. Card Player Player of the Year points will be up for grabs in 47 of the events this summer at Venetian. This is the third Venetian Deep Stack Event of the year; the fourth will take place from November 1-25.
