iPoker Strengthens French Market Presence

Chilipoker Becomes Direct Licensee in Soon-To-Be-Regulated French Market

Playtech, owner of the iPoker network, today announced it had signed a deal with Chilipoker which will see the online poker room become a direct licensee of the iPoker network.

Previously Chilipoker had a contract with iPoker sub-licensee Tain but the fast growing site will now work directly with iPoker.

Chilipoker recently announced a significant deal with a French internet service provider as well as sponsorship of the forthcoming World Poker Tour Marrakech.

Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech, said, “We are delighted to have consolidated our relationship with Chilipoker in reaching an agreement for it to become a direct licensee. The French gaming market offers huge potential for gaming operators, and we will be looking more closely at establishing our foothold here in advance of the gambling regulation coming into force next year."
