Revamped Tournament Schedule and Results Section Live

User Feedback Used to Improve Section

Card Player recently launched a redesigned CardPlayer.com, and we’ve received a tremendous amount of constructive feedback from our loyal, helpful readers. By far the most sought-after enhancement requested was an improved tournament section.

The tournament schedule and results section on CardPlayer.com is the industry’s most comprehensive listing of upcoming events and historic results. Users can browse to find out when the next big tournament series is taking place (along with start times and blind structures, when available) or find out the winners of every major poker event since 1970.

In the feedback, users requested the ability to view tournaments by month or series rather than day or event. Then again, many users liked the new way of browsing the huge amount of tournament data on CardPlayer.com. Well, we here at Card Player understood and agreed with both points of view, so we’ve given both factions of users what they want in the revamped tournament schedule and results section.

Those who want a browsing experience more akin to how the old CardPlayer.com functioned need only navigate to the tournament section as normal. There they’ll find a month-by-month scroller with the current month highlighted. All tournament series running in that month are listed and sortable. Users can navigate to a different month using the scroller or the drop-down menus, or they can go into the advanced search to type in series names, casinos, or cities to find more specific results.

Anyone who liked the event-by-event listing to see what was going down on specific days can still get their kicks, as well. To revert to the functionality of the original redesigned tournament section, simply click on “View By: Day/Event” at the top left of the tournament section. This will list individual events on individual days, and also features sortable columns. This list shows event buy-ins, day 1 start times, and more, giving you a more precise look at what’s going on in the poker tournament world on a given day. The advanced search in this section features the same series/casino/city keyword search functionality, but also gives users the option to put in date ranges and buy-in ranges.

Card Player wants to thank all of our users for taking the time to send in feedback so that we can ensure that CardPlayer.com caters to your needs.

Happy tournament browsing!
