After a year in development, PKR.com has launched its new website which includes a whole host of exciting and innovative new features. The first is its expanded MyPKR section which boasts full player profiles including tournament results and an “about me” section; the capability to send status updates and messages; personalised news feeds; full privacy settings; and an add and remove friends feature.
The site now includes a new section called “Raise Your Game” which hosts a vast online zone filled with poker strategy articles from pros such as Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond, and PKR Team Pro members such as James Sudworth, who recently took seventh place in the World Series of Poker $2,500 no-limit six-handed event. There is also a new community section with updated news and events, and access to other features such as PKR.tv.
Finally, other developments include various chip animations for added realism; a PKR loyalty ladder users can climb to unlock new dressing rooms; and general avatar improvements.
Chief Operating Officer, Leon Walters said these new features are “guaranteed to enhance every single player’s PKR experience."
