To have winners in poker, you have to have losers, and a new documentary by Las Vegas-based Willis Entertainment aims to give people a glimpse into the poker world that is rarely shown on television.
"Poker Bustouts" is a 60-minute documentary that shows the professional poker circuit through the eyes of the hard-luck characters that play the game. Without the characters who populate it, poker probably wouldn't have became as popular.
The DVD features comic Vinny Favorito, headliner at Binion's Horseshoe, World Series of Poker veterans Tomer Benvenisti and Ted Lawson, as well as short money, low-limit experts like Mike "The Bum" Tullis and "Cowboy" Paul Margaritis.
Everyone from dealers to railbirds is interviewed to shine a light on this side of poker that's not always apparent to the occasional poker room visitor.
