Grosvenor Victoria London Poker Championships Begin

The Grosvenor Victoria London Poker Championships will run for two weeks from today, Jul. 6 to Jul. 19. The festival will include various different poker tournaments at a wide range of buy-ins such as a £100 + £20 pot-limit Omaha rebuy event, a £500 + £50 no-limit hold’em freezeout, and a £100 + £20 pot-limit dealer’s choice tournament. This frenzy of poker activity is set to get going later today with a £300 + £30 no-limit hold’em freezeout.

The £2,500 + £250 main event is the Unibet Open and is set to take place on Jul. 16 with two starting days. This event will run for four days in total and is guaranteed to have at least 150 players with the many online qualifiers and players buying in on the day. Each starting day has a maximum capacity of 150 players.

The day before the main event begins, a £320 buy-in super satellite will be held at the casino with an expected 12-14 seats into the Open up for grabs.

The rest of the events are one day tournaments with one exception, the £500 no-limit hold’em freezeout on Jul. 11 and 12, and each one is capped at 100 players plus alternates.
