Cecure Gaming, a mobile gaming software development company, has officially gone into administration with all services suspended for the time being.

On Jul. 20, Graham Bushby and Geoffrey Carlton-Kelly of Baker Tilly Restructuring and Recovery LLP were appointed joint administrators of the company, and the site says that they now act as agents of the company without personal liability.

The note on the site also reads, “The Administrators are seeking an acquirer for the business, interested parties should contact Patricio Gordillo of Cavendish Corporate Finance LLP on +44 (0) 207 908 6046.”

According to Gaming Intelligence Group, Cegure Gaming’s partners included UK mobile networks Orange, T-Mobile, 3 Mobile, and Vodafone; and it operated its own gaming brand Aces Royal, as well as other mobile brands such as the World Poker Tour mobile, and Ladbrokes Poker Million mobile.

Previously, WPT Enterprises, who own the World Poker Tour, saw its US$2.9 million investment in Cecure Gaming weaken over time as the company could not get the capital to finance its business development and had to let many of its employees go. WPT Enterprises’ 10 percent interest soon became 8 percent, and then between last year and the first quarter of this year, the total amount was written off.

Cecure Gaming has now announced on its site that all player funds are being safely held in a ring-fenced bank account, and arrangements are being made to give players their money back. Any player whose account details are incorrect should contact [email protected] with the correct information. Those whose accounts are up to date do not need to get in touch with the company.

More details will be posted soon at CegureGaming.com.
