This week's cast for Poker After Dark. The cash game is back.

Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Phil Ivey headline a talented group of six players who put their games on display in a special two-week cash-game edition of Poker After Dark, which will air this week and next week on NBC.

Patrik Antonius, Howard Lederer, Eli Elezra, and Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies round out the group as the pros square up at the Golden Nugget.

This is the second time that Poker After Dark has featured a multi-week, high-stakes cash game, departing from its standard six-person sit-and-go format. Lederer, Elezra, and Sahamies all initially bought in for $100,000, while Dwan, Ivey, and Antonius ponied up $250,000 to start. The blinds started at $200-$400, but won’t stay there for long.

“Look for the blinds to increase a couple of times over the next two weeks, and for a seldom seem triple straddle,” said Dennis Oehring, the public relations coordinator for Poker Productions, in a press release.

The game was quick to create action, as Lederer was felted in the first episode after his aces were cracked by Elezra’s pocket eights. Sahamies was the next one to go broke, as he and Dwan didn’t hesitate to push their stacks in the middle on the flop, both just on a flush draw. Dwan’s king-high flush was better than Sahamie’s jack-high flush when a third diamond came on the river. Both Lederer and Sahamies quickly bought back into the game.

“There are also some wild swings in this game, including an unbelievable comeback by one of the players,” said Oehring.

Poker After Dark airs at 2:05 a.m. on NBC each week night, with a special Director’s Cut episode at 1 a.m. after Saturday Night Live.
