Online Poker Player Uses VIP Points for Honeymoon

PartyPoker.com has unwittingly helped a 35 year-old Canadian and his new wife take the first steps in their marriage by providing the honeymoon for the couple through their VIP programme.

Gary Scharkov from Toronto found the holiday to St. Lucia in the VIP store and the Palladium Lounge Elite member used 55,000 Party Points to purchase the holiday as his honeymoon for himself and his 29 year-old wife Rachel.

Scharkov was thrilled with the find, saying, “I was looking at how I could use my loyalty points one day and by fluke came across the holiday while looking at the store online. It is fantastic to be able to use my points for something as important and expensive as my honeymoon. We had a great time, the holiday was top draw and to come back and see U2 live from a box was brilliant too!”
