PKR.com, the 3D online poker room, today announced the launch of Oktoberfest, a 10-day online poker festival starting Oct. 15 at the site.
Players will be able to participate in a wide array of events including a new Omaha high-low, as well as formats such as deepstack, double chance, rebuy, and bounty tournaments.
The festival ends with a ‘variable’ freeroll where players will receive a chip stack with chips added for every tournament they play across the 10 days.
Poker room manager Neil Wright said, “This year’s Oktoberfest is even more accessible than ever with extremely affordable buy-ins. We’ve decided to run the festival alongside our new Primetime tournaments which have proved to be hugely popular, so now players can get the great value of Oktoberfest events and also have a shot at another top tournament – all in the same night.”
Last week PKR launched its Mac-compatible software for Apple users.
