PartyPoker Sponsors Racing Legend Giancarlo Fisichella

Formula One racing driver Giancarlo Fisichella has been signed as poker ambassador for PartyPoker.it, PartyPoker.com Italian online poker site.

PartyPoker.it is celebrating Fisichella becoming an ambassador with a series of daily freerolls. Players have a shot to win a piece of the €500 prize pool and, better still, a genuine F1 collector’s item ― a unique shirt signed by “Fisi” himself. Freerolls run until Oct. 31, for Italian resident only.

Fisichella, a committed family man from Rome, was delighted to be announced ambassador for PartyPoker.it, saying, “Poker has become a very popular pastime in the paddock in recent months with many of the drivers. I have joined two new teams recently and am delighted to be in pole position as a new ambassador for PartyPoker.it!”

He started his motorsport career in karting in 1984 and currently has over 200 grand prix starts, three victories and four pole positions to his name. In Sept. 2009 Fisichella fulfilled a boyhood dream of signing for Ferrari to drive in F1.
