Luke "FullFlush" Schwartz at the PKR Heads Up Grand SlamThe ever controversial Luke “_FullFlush1_” Schwartz was yesterday barred from entering the Palm Beach Casino in London for the PartyPoker.com World Open VI before the casino finally relented and let him in after organisers guaranteed he would be supervised at all times.

Schwartz went on to beat the likes of James Akenhead and Yevgeniy Timoshenko in the first heat.

The $10,000 event takes place this week until Thursday, October 15, and the prize pool has swelled to $480,000, with the winner collecting $250,000.

Today’s heat sees a battle between Phil Laak, Simon Zach, Andy Greekfish, Praz Bansi, JP Kelly, Remy Biechel, Wayne O’Brien and Patrick Funke.
