PartyPoker’s Idolo Cup Attracts Some of World’s Biggest Soccer Stars to Italy

Zinedine Zidane plays the Idolo Cup in Italy on December 21The Italian anti-racism charity soccer event, the Idolo Cup presented by PartyPoker.it, yesterday secured some more big names for the game taking place in Torino, Italy on Dec 21.

Named to take part yesterday were Nicolas Anelka (Chelsea), John Carew (Aston Villa), Anderson (Manchester United), Florent Malouda (Chelsea), Ji Sung Park (Manchester United), Patrice Evra (Manchester United), and Mamadiou Niang (Marseille).

These players will be available for Marcello Lippi’s European XI include Zinedine Zidane, El Hadji Diouf ( Blackburn ), Antonio De Natale (Udiense), Danielle Mannini (Sampdoria), Marco Donadel (Fiorentina) and many other big Italian names.

The African XI, managed by Didier Drogba and Salif Diao, will include Jon Obi Mikel (Chelsea), Emmanuel Adebayor ( Man City ), Kole Toure ( Man City ), Patrick Vieira (Inter Milan), Wilson Palacios (Spurs), Mahamadou Diarra (Real Madrid), Pascal Chimbouda (Blackburn), Salomon Kalou ( Chelsea ).
