Poker Stars Brings European Poker Tour to Berlin

New EPT Gremany Stop Sees €1 Million Guaranteed to Winner in March

John Duthie announces Europe's largest ever European Poker Tour eventPokerStars.com recently announced a new stop on the European Poker Tour with the winner guaranteed €1 million in Berlin from March 2 to 7, 2010.

John Duthie, chief executive officer of the EPT said, “We are excited to be making our first stop in the beautiful city of Berlin. We have experienced great success throughout the first half of EPT Season 6, with thousands of players competing in the initial six events.”

The event, with capacity for up to 1,000 players, takes place in Marlene-Dietrich-Platz at Potsdamer Platz in the German capital, moving from its previous home of Dortmund.

EPT Berlin is expected to be the largest ever EPT held on European soil.

The next stop on the tour is the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure which then moves on through Deauville, France and Copenhagen, Denmark before hitting Berlin.
