Reno poker players itching for bigger starting stacks and more play will be pleased to learn about the new Deep Stack Poker Tournaments that will be running at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino from Jan. 13-17.
The casino will run three daily tournaments during that time (at noon, 4 p.m., and 7 p.m.), at several different price points. Players can buy in for unique events for either $120, $170, $225, or $330. The for the lower two buy-in tournaments, players will start with 8,000 in chips, while the $225 events will give players 10,000 in starting chips. And for the biggest bucks, the most chips — each player in the $330 events will start out with 12,000 in chips.
In all tournaments, players may receive an extra 2,000 in starting chips for putting up a $10 dealer bonus.
The noon tournaments feature 30-minute levels, while the 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. events offer 20-minute levels.
