Bwin Games has announced the appointment of Peter Bertilsson, former Boss Media head, as managing director of bwin poker. He replaces Carl Klingberg at the company with a view to developing the business-to-business unit at the betting giant.
Norbert Teufelberger, co-chief executive of bwin explained the move. “As the market environment changes in that fast moving industry the b2b capabilities will be key for USA and Asia but also for riding the regulation wave in Europe.
“To carve out a distinct and strategic b2b unit is the order of the day. It is time to evaluate, complete and enhance the product portfolio to be prepared for the future.”
The move follows recent successfully developed b2b units at 888.com and PartyGaming.
