PokerShare.com, which went offline in December, will be back in March.

A dispute with poker software giant Excapsa and its subsidiary, Game Theory Limited, forced the site offline. Excapsa licenses its poker software and poker network to several poker sites, UltimateBet.com being the largest one.

When Excapsa pulled the plug on PokerShare.com, it left the startup without a large and established customer base and software to run its poker room.

On its website, PokerShare.com's poker room manager Max Wright wrote that the dispute between the two companies has been resolved, but that PokerShare.com will be working with a new, unnamed partner.

PokerShare.com, which is owned by Playit Ownit Limited, gives its players the chance to own stock in the company. The more players play on the site, the more Player Share Points they earn, which entitles players to a piece of the room's profits.

PokerShare.com sets aside 40 percent of the company's profits for its players. The rest goes to Playit Ownit Limited. If PokerShare.com ever goes public, the Player Share points that players have earned will translate into stock.
