The highly awaited €3,500 + €250 buy-in PokerStars European Poker Tour Snowfest kicks off today at the Alpine Palace Card Casino in Saalbach-Hinterglemm near Salzburg. Hundreds of pros and online qualifiers will take to the green felt after some time on the slopes in one of Austria’s premier ski destinations for the Tour’s first ever event of this kind.
Play will proceed as usual, with two starting days (day 1A today) and players will begin with 30,000 in chips with blinds starting at 50-100. Levels will be 60 minutes in length on the starting days, but will then increase to 75 minutes thereafter. A champion will be crowned on Fri, Mar. 26.
