Online Poker -- UB.net Sends Players to Bellator Fighting Championships

Six weeks ago, Card Player brought you the story that UB.net was partnering with mixed martial arts giant Bellator Fighting Championships and becoming an exclusive sponsor for all nationally televised broadcasts.

To celebrate their partnership, UB.net will now host a weekly special weekly Bellator freeroll from March 25th to June 24th, offering winners two cage-side tickets to designated fight nights during the 2010 season. In addition to the tickets, winners will receive pre and post event photos in the cage, official Bellator and UB swag and $300 in cash for travel expenses.

UB and Bellator want to promote the grassroots following of mixed martial arts, so they’ve designed the freerolls to geo-target specific areas of the country so they coincide with upcoming fights. For that reason, each freeroll will only be open to certain states depending on the location of the next Bellator event.

March 25 (20:00 ET) — Florida

April 1 (21:00 ET) — Illinois and Indiana

April 8 (20:00 ET) — Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York

April 15 (21:00 ET) — Kansas and Missouri

More details about the freeroll schedule will be announced soon. Players should check the UB.net site for new freeroll listings under the “Specials” tab in the tournament lobby.
