Ladbrokes Poker revenue falls 10 percent in year to April 2010Ladbrokes Plc, the UK bookmaker with a significant online poker business, today reported poker revenue down 10 percent in the first four months of 2010.

The interim report, ahead of today’s Annual General Meeting at the company, did not break down the financials for poker into more detailed metrics but the company did say that net gaming revenue was down 2 percent with “growth in Sportsbook and Bingo offset by weakness in Poker and Casino.”

Ladbrokes launched its poker product into the Italian market in March 2010 and it saw revenue fall 13.6 percent in the first half of 2009 to £12.7 million from £14.7 million in the first half of 2008.
