After the flop fell 10 8 7 Carlos Herrera bet 150,000 to isolate and Jose Barbero obliged when he mucked. Herrera flipped over K 10 and the turn and river bricked out, eliminating Valera in eighth place ($18,600). Two hands later Ben Barrows moved all in preflop with A-Q and Herrera made the all-in call with pocket kings. The board ran out Q-Q-5-6-8 and Herrera was eliminated in seventh place ($28,000).
Rene Aguilar was out in sixth place ($37,300) after he moved all in preflop with K-Q and got called by the pocket queens of Erick Cabrera. The board missed both players and Aguilar hit the rail. Barrows scored another elimination when Silvio Martins moved all in for 600,000 preflop with K 10 and Barrows made the call with A 6. The flop brought an ace and it was enough to send Martins home in fifth place ($46,500).
Ismael Cadiz (K-J) then moved all in preflop against Barbero (A-2). The board ran out Q-7-7-8-10 and Cadiz hit the rail in fourth place ($65,100). The battle for third ended with Barbero claiming another knockout punch. After a series of bets and raises Cabrera was all in with A-10 in the hole on a 10-8-6-3 board. Barbero held 9-7 for a straight and not even the As on the river prevented Cabrera from exiting in third place ($88,400).
