Tom Dwan Increases Lead to $2 Million in Durrrr Poker ChallengeDwans Enjoys Monster Lead With 10,000 Hands Remaining |

Patrik Antonius and Tom Dwan finally resumed their match in the Durrrr Challenge on Saturday, giving the online poker world hope that perhaps their battle might winding down to its conclusion.
After a 92-day hiatus, the two pros sat down for a very brief session of just 280 hands. The swings, however, were vicious, and Antonius managed to quit with a $244,000 win.
Things were looking good for Antonius, who had finally managed to put a sizable dent in Dwan’s lead. Unfortunately for the Finnish pro, things did not go his way on Sunday.
In just 181 hands, Dwan issued a beating worth $460,000. That puts him up over $2 million since this challenge started with only about 10,000 hands to go.
Clearly the huge swings mean that Antonius could win back a sizable portion of his losses, but Dwan’s lead makes any sort of comeback unlikely. The reality of having to fork over an additional $500,000 to Dwan once the challenge is over may be enough to prolong the match even further. He continued his dominance the next day, winning $416,000 in some games unrelated to the challenge.
Dwan is set to take on Jungleman12 next, but is hoping that he can wrap up both matches by the time the World Series of Poker Europe rolls around.
