The Malta Poker Open returns to the Mediterranean island from from Oct. 29 to 31 2010 with the centerpiece event being the €1,000 + €100 main event on Oct. 30 and 31.
Portomaso Casino will host the event in the heart of St. Juilans entertainment district as well as a Ladies Only tournament on October 29.
‘We’re very excited about the second installment of the Malta Poker Open, “ said a spokesperson for the company. “Last year’s event was a massive success which featured 150 players mostly from Malta, but this year’s event is set to attract many more players from top European countries! The fact that several European poker pros are joining in on the action will only help make this year’s Malta Poker Open a more memorable one for the participants.”
Malta’s poker culture has been enhanced recently by events such as the European Masters of Poker and Euro City Poker Tour.
