For the 2010 World Championship of Online Poker, PokerStars has announced that it will be adding more than $500,000 in WCOOP seats to its special series of satellite tournaments, which are running three times daily Aug. 21-29.
The Extreme Satellites are back for their second year and will once again provide an opportunity for bankrolls of all sizes to compete in a WCOOP event.
The highlight of the satellite series is the $260 qualifier for the $5,200 WCOOP main event. The tournament will provide 25 additional seats, for $130,000 in added prize money.
The WCOOP, which will begin Sept. 5, will feature 62 events and a $50 million-guaranteed combined prize pool.
