The excitement surrounding the PaddyPowerPoker.com Irish Winter Festival 2010 is on the up as the site confirms further details of all the tournament structures within the Festival which will run from Oct. 22 to 25 at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, Ireland.
Paddy Power, Communications Manager for the site, said, “Plenty of chips, ample time, and serious poker action can be expected at the Irish Winter Festival 2010. The new side events in this year’s schedule also means there is something to suit everyone’s wallets.
“Not only this but we are spicing things up Paddy’s style regarding entertainment at the festival this year – each evening there will be great music and plenty of activities going on in the bar so don’t miss out on what promises to be a fantastic weekend!”
The centre piece of the festival, the three-day €1,500 + €150 buy-in Irish Masters main event, kicks off on Oct. 23 with a starting stack of 15,000 and 60 minute levels.
The €500 no-limit hold’em side event will be held over two days starting on Oct. 24 and will see a 10,000 starting stack and 45 minute levels. Then on Oct. 25, the €300 Round-Of-Each event will play out, starting off with 8,000 in chips and with blind levels of 35 minutes.
The two new events added to the schedule this year are the €200 + €20 buy-in no-limit hold’em side event on Oct. 23 and the €100 + €10 buy-in Blind Man’s Bluff tournament on Oct. 24. They will see a 6,000 starting stack with 30 minute levels and a 4,000 starting stack with 20 minute levels respectively.
On Oct 22 there will be a €150 + €15 no-limit hold’em rebuy Irish Masters Super Satellite at the Burlington. Last year 50 main event seats were taken down in this successful event. In the run up to the festival, there are Irish Masters super satellites every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening at PaddyPowerPoker.com, with feeders running daily, plus many other ways to ensure a seat in this year’s Irish Winter Festival.
Online satellites for the much anticipated Blind Man’s Bluff tournament will also run on the site from September.
