Betfair’s seventh festival of its Live series, Betfair Poker Live Prague will take place from Oct. 20 to 24 in Card Casino Prague.
The stop includes a wide range of no-limit hold’em tournaments to suit all budgets but the two major highlights of the festival are the €820 + €80 buy-in main event which is offering a €100,000 guaranteed prize pool and the €2500 + €250 buy-in High Roller event.
More than 250 players are expected to attend the main event and the player who knocks out the special BF Bounty appointed by Betfair will win a package for the next festival. The previous Festival in Yalta set a new record in both the size of the field and the prize pool – $206,804. Kirill Telezhkin outlasted 259 opponents in Crimea winning $45,000 for his efforts.
Players can win their way to the main event via Betfair Poker Live Prague 2010 Satellites which start at as little as €0.03. There will be five finals – Sept. 19 and 26, and Oct. 3, 10, and 17. There are several packages on offer, each worth $1,850 and include the $1,170 buy-in and $680 for accommodation and travel expenses.
