2010 PokerStars APPT Auckland Begins Wednesday

Fourth Season Stops in New Zealand

Simon WattThe PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour makes its third stop of season 4 on Wednesday, September 15 with the $3,000 NZD no-limit hold’em championship event at the SKYCITY Casino in Auckland, New Zealand.

The tournament will have two day-one flights, and the final table will wrap up on September 19.

Last season saw 263 players enter the event, with Simon Watt taking the first-place prize of $209,085 NZD. Watt is perhaps best known for making a splash back in June of 2010 when he bested Tom Dwan heads up to win his first World Series of Poker title.
