Boomtown Casino in Reno Is Awarding Its Top Players

Boomtown Casino and Hotel Reno Poker Corral is giving its most loyal players a chance to win big.

Held Saturday, August 26, the Summer Round-up Texas Hold'em Tournament invites the 50 players with the most tracked Boomtown Poker play from May 15 through August 20 the chance to play for part of $12,500. To award its players, the casino is adding $7,500 to the prize pool.

The top 50 players can opt to enter the tournament for $100 plus a $20 entry fee. Players receive $3,000 in tournament chips and the tourney is limited to 50 players.

The tournament is another way the Poker Corral deals out rewards for tracked Player's Club card play. Free commemorative Boomtown Poker jackets are also awarded with 48 hours of tracked Player's Club play. The club even offers a chance to earn guestrooms, food, General Store Gift Shop and Boomtown Chevron gasoline discounts and freebies.

The Poker Corral ropes in more poker fun with regular Texas hold'em tournaments every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday at 7 p.m. for $22. Hold'em with $1-$5 limits and no-limit hold'em games with $50 to $300 buy-ins are played daily. Further information is available at 775-345-8588.
