This Sunday, Sept. 21, Full Tilt is hosting a $10 buy-in charity tournament called Monster at 6:30 p.m. EST to benefit the Injured Riders Fund for Road 2 Recovery.
The tournament is open to everyone and can be found under the Private tournaments tab. The password is “Recovery.” Among those who have already committed to playing in the event are supercross stars Josh Grant, Grand Langston, Jason Thomas, and Road 2 Recovery founder Jimmy Button. Poker pros Andy Bloch, Jennifer Harman, and Roy Winston are also competing.
Half of the prize pool will be awarded to the top finishers, and the winner of the event will also receive a Curtis & Co. “World” model sports watch valued at $2,200. The other half of the prize pool will go to charity, and Monster has pledged to match up to $10,000 of the generated proceeds.
“The past couple of years have been especially difficult for industry riders,” said Button in a press release. “Since my own recovery, I’ve dedicated my life to helping professional AMA licensed Motocross and Supercross members sustaining career-ending injuries with financial, motivational, emotional, and spiritual support.”
Players can take also tale advantage of a Full Tilt deposit bonus through Card Player. For more information about the organization, visit the Road 2 Recovery website.
