The next stop on the World Series of Poker Circuit event schedule begins tomorrow at the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The tournament series kicks off with a $300 no-limit hold’em event and ends with the $5,000 no-limit hold’em Circuit championship that will award thousands to the winner, as well as a seat in the 2009 WSOP main event.
Games will be spread in limit and no-limit hold’em, six-handed no-limit hold’em, Omaha eight-or-better, pot-limit Omaha, and H.O.R.S.E. There will also be a no-limit hold’em ladies championship event on Sunday, Feb. 15. The Horseshoe will be running mega-satellites daily leading up to the main event at 3 p.m. ($330 buy-in) and 7 p.m. ($550 buy-in) every weekday. There will also be an additional $550 mega-satellite at noon on Sunday, Feb. 22, the day before the Circuit championship begins. In addition to the mega-satellites for the championship event, the Horseshoe will run single-table satellites for all preliminary events daily during the tournament series from 9 a.m. until 3 a.m. All preliminary events begin at noon, unless they are the second prelim scheduled on that day, in which case the second event begins at 4 p.m. Here is a look at the tournament series schedule:
