Alexander Carmasino was all-in holding QJ, but he was dominated by Vincent Moscati’s AQ.
The board ran out 885A10 and Moscati finally claimed the last pot of the tournament.
Carmosino, who was a runaway freight train for most of the day, had to settle for second place and a payout of $33,339. Moscati takes home the title, the trophy, and the $54,540 first-place prize for an outright win.

Moscati raised the button and Carmosino shoved for 6,390,000. Moscati quickly called with AK, and he was in great shape to win the tournament against Carmosino’s AQ.
The board fell A104J7, however, and Carmosino doubled up, essentially trading spots with Moscati. Carmosino now sports a 2:1 chip lead.

Both players checked and the A hit the river. Moscati checked, and Carmosino bet 500. Moscati called with 86 for an eight-high flush, and Carmosino mucked.
Moscati now has 14,800,000 while Carmosino is sitting on 3,625,000.

Moscati checked and Carmosino bet 400,000. Moscati then announced he was all-in for 5,465,000 and Carmosino quickly called. Moscati rolled over the J10 for a flush. Carmosino had the 109 for a straight and was drawing dead.
The river was the A and Moscati doubled up to over 12.5 million, taking the massive chip lead. Carmosino was left with roughly 3.4 million after the hand.

Moscati Takes The Chip Lead

For the first time in a long time, Alexander Carmosino is not the chip leader.
Vincent Moscati limped the small blind, and Carmosino raised to 370,000. Moscati then made it 1,100,000 and Carmosino responded with another raise to 2,500,000.
Moscati called, putting about 30 percent of the chips in the tournament in the pot preflop. The flop came down QQ3 and Moscati moved all-in.
Carmosino didn’t wait too long to fold, leaving himself with 7,800,000. Moscati now has 8,200,000. Palmer rounds out the three with 2,250,000.
