Ryan Buckholtz Eliminated On The Bubble
Oct 17, '17
On the first hand of hand-for-hand play, Ryan Buckholtz was all-in from the hijack on a flop of AQ2.
Arthur Bekkerman made the call from the button, and the action was paused while the remaining tables finished their hand. Buckholtz knew he was in trouble, but was forced to wait for nearly eight minutes while another pot played out at a different table.
Eventually, the action was allowed to resume, and Buckholtz showed 1010. Bekkerman’s A6 was well ahead, and he called for a king on the turn to give him a sweat.
The K hit the turn, giving Buckholtz a straight draw to go along with his pair, but the 5 on the river ended his tournament run on the bubble.
Bekkerman now has 295,000, and the remaining 72 players are all in the money and guaranteed at least $2,000.
