Perhaps he shouldn’t have, because his A5 was dominated by Karmazinas and his A10. The board ran out 86693 and Olive was eliminated.

Big Double Up For Hairabedian

Nick Schulman raised from under the gun and then table chip leader Laurent Olive reraised to 140,000 behind him. Roger Hairabedian then moved all in for 600,000 and Schulman folded.
Olive then called, showing down pocket queens, but they were no match for Hairabedian’s pocket kings. The board fell 98647 and Hairabedian doubled up to 1,350,000. Olive is back out the seven figure club with about 875,000.

Action opened up with a Laurent Olive raise to 64,000 on the button and then Manuel Bevand moved all in from the small blind. Olive quickly called and showed down pocket kings.
Short stacked Bevand was optimistic about his pocket sevens, but Olive’s hand held on a board of J5335 to send him to the rail. Olive is now up to 1.5 million in chips.
