Sean Drake Eliminated
Mar 27, '15
After doubling up Glenn Uchibori, Sean Drake was left with only 3,400.
On the very next hand Drake was all-in and received a call from the player on the button.
Drake held the 55 and found himself in a classic race against his opponent’s AQ.
The flop brought the K88 to keep Drake in the lead.
The turn was the 3, giving the AQ the nut flush draw in addition to the two overcards.
It was the overcard outs that mattered in the end, as the Q on the river gave the button the superior hand and sent Drake to the rail.

Ed Miller and Sean Drake chop it up.
With the board reading AKJQ4 Ed Miller raised all-in and Sean Drake snap-called.
Miller avoided the need to fire bullet number three on Day 1B – at least at this point in time – when the two both tabled ace-ten for the same Broadway straight.
