Eyal Al Revah Silenced By Nadya Magnus, Daniel Merrilees
Jul 19, '19
The tournament room just got a bit quieter with the elimination of Eyal Al Revah, who has been by far the most talkative person in the field here on day 3.
Al Revah lost most of his stack in a pot with Nadya Magnus, when he called her three-bet preflop with A8.
“Your queens will probably hold,” Al Revah told her.
The flop fell A96 and Al Revah checked.
“You got it, nice hand,” said Al Revah, as Magnus reached for chips. She eventually settled on 47,000, and Al Revah instantly threw in a chip to call.
“I got lucky on the flop,” he continued. “I’m sorry about your A-K.”
The turn was the J, and Al Revah bet just 7,000, getting a laugh from the table. Magnus responded by raising most of her stack, and Al Revah got up from his chair to say, “I knew I should have folded,” before raising all-in.
“Your A-K is good,” Al Revah then said as he tabled his hand. Magnus showed down AA, however, for top set. The river was the 6, and Magnus doubled up to about 480,000.
Al Revah was left short stacked, and eliminated a few hands later by Daniel Merrilees.
