Alan Percal Rivers a Queen
Dec 13, '13
Alan Percal raised to 500 from early position and Jerry Willis, the current PBKC Player of the Series leader, three-bet to 1,400 from the button. Percal took a few moments and then tossed in a call.
They saw a flop of A93 and Percal check-called a bet of 2,400 from Willis. The turn was the 5 and Percal led out for 3,350. Willis thought for a few moments while playing with his chips and pushed in a call. The river was the Q and both players checked.
Willis tabled K9, giving him a pair of nines, but Percal tabled KQ, good for a rivered pair of queens and the pot. Both players are hovering around their original starting stacks.

Jerry Willis, from Boynton Beach, Florida, was facing an all-in bet from an opponent on a board reading Q 10 7 9 3.
Willis tanked for awhile before folding K-J face up, which was the nut straight and the stone-cold nuts on the turn. He could only lose to a flush.
His opponent raked in the nearly 100,000 pot.
