Lawrence Masi Moves All In
Apr 20, '18
We caught up with the action in a hand where Lawrence Masi had checked to his opponent on a board reading Q1049. Masi’s opponent fired 4,100, and Masi shoved for 24,000. His opponent counted out some of his chips and looked like he was interested in calling, but he eventually threw his cards in and Masi breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Lawrence Masi Flops A Set, But Loses To River Flush
Apr 22, '18
Lawrence Masi moved all in for roughly 200,000 over the top of a bet from Shawn Rice on a board reading K86. Rice made the quick call.
Their cards:
Masi: 66
Rice: AQ
Masi had flopped bottom set, but he was up against one of the worst hands he could see after getting all his money in. It would have been much better if Rice had a king or a two pair type hand. Masi was going to need to dodge the remaining spades in the deck.
The 10 on the turn gave Rice some more outs, as he could now hit a jack to make an ace-high straight. The 2 on the river gave him the nut flush and the win in dramatic fashion. Masi hit the rail and headed over to the payout desk.
