Zahmat Falls To Vaeza

Dario Minieri raised to 7,100 from under the gun and Adolfo Vaeza reraised to 25,000 behind him. Bijan Zahmat then moved all in from the button and Minieri folded.
Vaeza then called with pocket kings, which was ahead of Zahmat’s AK. The board fell 743J3 and Zahmat was eliminated. Vaeza is now pushing 600,000.

Vaeza Going For Another High Roller Final Table

Uruguary’s Adolfo Vaeza has vaulted himself to the top of the leader board thanks to two key hands from the last level. Vaeza doubled up to about 200,000 through Bijan Zahmat when his pocket tens held against big slick.
Then, he got Dario Minieri to commit a ton of chips with top pair against his middle set. Vaeza is now up to almost 500,000 in chips. Vaeza made the final table of the High Roller Championship in London, where he finished in fourth place.

Paul Berende didn’t want to get it all in, but he did, with pocket jacks. Unfortunately, he ran into Bijan Zahmat’s pocket kings. The board didn’t help either player and Berende was eliminated.
