The first of two starting days drew a total of 64 entries including Card Player’s own Barry Shulman, Mark Gregorich, former CPPT bestbet Jacksonville final tablist Yi Li and Carbon Poker online qualifiers Cole Macy, Andy Asnicar and Duane Mispagle. Card Player’s Allyn Shulman, the only former CPPT main event champion in the field and the tour’s all-time money winner, survived Day 1A with 72,000.
