Scott Clements Gets Some From William Vo
Jul 17, '16
William Vo limped in from under the gun and Scott Clements raised behind him to 1,000. Everyone folded back to Vo, who called. The flop came down AK6 and both players checked.
The turn wa the 9 and again both players checked. The river was the 4 and Vo bet 1,000. Clements raised to 4,000 and Vo called with AJ.
Clements revealed KJ, however, for the nut flush and the pot. “I made a big mistake,” said Vo, as his stacked slipped to 46,000.

Tommy Chen Gets Some Back
Jul 17, '16
On a flop of 1054, Tommy Chen bet and William Vo check raised to 1,750, continuing his aggressively nice table talk.
Chen could only laugh as he called, and the turn was the K. This time Vo checked, and Chen responded with, “that’s interesting,” before betting 2,200. Vo called and the river was the Q.
Both players checked and Vo showed 109, laughing about the hand. Chen turned over A10, however, for a better pair of tens to drag the pot.
“I got some back,” said Chen. Vo continued to laugh off the hand, still in a jovial mood after chipping up to 55,000.
“This guy loves life,” said Scott Efron from the other end of the table. “He’s definitely the nicest guy between us,” added Chen, who is now over 27,000 in chips.

William Vo Takes More From Paul Tschernia
Jul 17, '16
Griffin Abel raised to 400 in early position and Paul Tschernia reraised to 1,600 from the cutoff. William Vo called from the small blind and Abel folded.
The flop came down 1094 and Tschernia bet 2,000. Vo called and the turn was the 5. It goes check, check and the K hits the river. Again both players checked and Vo turned over AQ for the nut flush.
“I told you,” said Vo. “I believed you,” said Tschernia, as he revealed JJ for the third nut flush.
This was the second decent-sized pot won by Vo in a few hands, bringing his stack to somewhere in the neighborhood of 50,000. It’s impossible to count, however, because he has yet to stack any the pots he won and his chips are sitting in a disorganized pile in front of him.
Vo doesn’t seemed concerned by the mess, however, as he is having a great time at the table telling stories to his opponents. When the floor man came over to tell him to stack his chips, Vo replied, “When you’re 77 years old, everything is slow.”
