Larry Quang Scores Double Knockout
Oct 14, '17
We caught up with the action on a flop of 985. A player bet 1,900 and was called by Vince Salvatore in the cutoff. Larry Quang then raised to 6,000 from the button.
The original bettor called, and Salvatore opted to move all-in. Quang moved all-in over the top, and the original bettor could only shrug and throw in the rest of his shorter stack as well.
With the cards on their backs, Salvatore revealed 98 for top two pair, the other player showed J10 for an open-ended straight draw, and Quang was in great shape with a set of eights.
The turn and river came A 3 and Quang scored the double knockout. He now has about 100,000 in chips.
