Joe Kuether open-shoved the small blind and Muhamet Perati called all in from the big blind.
Perati was all in for his tournament life and ahead before the flop with A10 against Kuether’s Q9.
The board came Q652Q, giving Kuether top pair on the flop and trips on the river to win the pot and eliminate Muhamet Perati in 7th place ($64,414). Kuether moved up to around 2.3 million in chips.
Jason Tompkins Eliminated in 6th Place ($85,981)
Jason Tompkins opened the pot for 100,000, Joe Kuether reraised to 245,000, Tompkins moved all in and Kuether called.
Tompkins was ahead before the flop with 1010 against Kuether’s AJ.
The board came AJ327, giving Kuether top two pair on the flop to win the pot and eliminate Jason Tompkins in 6th place ($85,981). Kuether moved up to about 2.75 million that hand.
The remaining five players took a one hour dinner break at the conclusion of Level 27 and will return at approximately 9:00pm local time to resume play.

The final table of Event no. 54 ($1,500 No-Limit Hold’em) is now underway, and Card Player will be posting level-by-level updates with all of the action, current chip counts, and prize distributions.
Day 3 began with 16 players spread out over 2 tables, and with the elimination of Brett Schwertley in 10th Place ($28,931), the final table is now set. Play will begin in Level 24 with blinds of 12,000-24,000 with a 4,000 ante, and will continue until a winner is determined.
