Both players were given a warm round of applause for their accomplishments last year and then handed their respective trophies. Marchese won just under $2.1 million during his break-out year and earned 6,738 points for his 11 final table appearances. He was by far the most consistent player on the tournament circuit, banking 6 six-figure scores highlighted by the $827,648 he earned for winning the NAPT Venetian main event in February. Paur narrowly defeated back-to-back contender Steve Gross for his title, winning just under $1.1 million online in 2010 and earning a record 11,030 points. The 22-year-old recorded 51 cashes during the year, but his most impressive stat hinted at his consistency. Paur made 28 final tables during his run and managed to win an astounding 13 of them.
