Haralabos Voulgaris was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. For the past several years he has made a living by betting sports and playing poker. Before 2003, he was mostly a cash game player, but decided to play tournaments. His biggest cash came at the 2005 World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic main event in which he finished second. He earned more than $904,000. Then at the 2007 WPT Borgata Poker Open, Voulgaris finished third for almost $435, 000.
